Description Wayne Beaton CLA 2013-05-27 12:10:26 EDT
We'll use this bug to track the EMF Facet 0.3 release for Kepler.

Note that, per bug 393682, mid-level modeling projects are being terminated; EMF Facet needs to move from modeling.emft.emf-facet to modeling.emf-facet. We need to enumerate the required changes so that webmaster can effect them.

* We have an opportunity to introduce some consistency. EMF Compare moved to modeling.emfcompare (no hyphen). Do we want to try and be consistent with that naming? i.e. change the project id to modeling.emffacet?
* Update bugzilla product from "EMFT.facet" to "EMFFacet"
* No changes required for the SVN repository (consider migrating to Git)
* Project website, and downloads are already in the root; no change is required

What have I missed?

If you want. To my point this won't cause any problem.

Ok.

It sounds good.

I declare this review successful! Please continue with your release.

Please assemble a list of action items to complete the move of this project. There are a few projects that need to move, so let's wait until we have all/most of them ready to go before we copy the webmaster and ask him to effect the changes all at once.
Comment 5 Wayne Beaton CLA 2014-05-06 16:15:15 EDT
Webmaster, please coordinate with the project to implement the following move-related action items:

* Move "modeling.emft.emf-facet" to "modeling.emffacet"
* Update bugzilla product from "EMFT.facet" to "EMFFacet"
* Move "modeling.emft.emf-facet" to "modeling.emffacet" in IPZilla.

Legal paperwork check performed - no barriers to making the necessary changes.

Gregoire, when is a good time for me to make these changes?

After the Luna release and after the end of the migration to Git (cf. 431089).

Just so I'm clear, you're releasing 0.3.0 with the Luna release?

Cheers,

Richard

According to the PMI, they're releasing 0.4 with Luna.

This bug is left over from last year. We never did finish the renaming activity that was coupled with the release. Let's make sure that this happens post-Luna as suggested in Comment 8.

I confirm:
- EMF Facet 0.4.0 will be released with Luna.
- After Luna will help.
