Create a *new* package and types in a *new* directory /outside/ of eclipse. I used an ant build script which invoked JAXB to generate a bunch of code. From the Java Browsing Perspective: Do a refresh on a parent package, the new packages and classes do NOT appear. Do a refresh on a parent class path entry, the new packages and classes do NOT appear. Note that the new files are displayed in the Navigator View in the Resource Perspective. Version: 3.0.0 Build id: 200307181617 (M2)
FYI, In the Projects View, in the Java Browsing Perspective, I "un-expanded" the project node and expanded it again, which then caused the package view to be displayed properly. But maybe it just took the updates for ever to appear due to the new UI job doo-dad.
Daniel, can you please investigate and check if the package explorer is affected as well.
It works for me. Please provide more information. >Do a refresh on a parent package, the new packages and classes do NOT appear. What did you select and in which view? >Do a refresh on a parent class path entry, the new packages and classes do NOT Where exactly to you see class path entries? Do you mean a source folder?
