While the 'Compare With -> Each Other' action seems to be properly overwritten to use the Sphinx compare editor instead of the standard Eclipse compare editor, this does not hold for the 'Compare With -> Local History...'. 

In my scenario, having Sphinx and Artop installed, as well as EMF Compare 1.3, when right-clicking on an .arxml file and issuing a 'Compare With -> Local History...', then performing a click on the respective revision within the opening History view, the default editor with the emf compare viewer is used instead of the Sphinx compare editor, which is not capable of loading .arxml files.
