Description Rajani Karuturi CLA 2013-03-25 01:21:24 EDT
I am using Spring tool suite version 3.1.0.RELEASE

I am running virgo server version 3.0.3.RELEASE from STS using eclispe virgo tools plugin version 1.0.1.201302270038-RELEASE

The publish button doesnt seem to work. I have to always restart my server even for simple jsp/js/css changes.

I observed that STS copies files to a stage directory inside $VIRGO_HOME and tried manually copying files to stage dir. That didnt work either.

I think STS copies files to stage and then to work. If i copy the changed files to work dir, it seems to immediately pick them.

Is there any setting which i can configure for STS to push files to work directory as well on clicking publish?

or probably a way to configure IServerWorkingCopy.DEFAULT_DEPLOYDIR and make it use the default stage instead of work?

The SpringSource tooling team is unlikely to be able to address this bug because of their current workload, so flagging as help wanted.
