Running the start method on org.eclipse.emf.cdo.examples.client.offline.nodes.Client causes a NullPointerException in org.eclipse.emf.cdo.internal.server.syncing.SynchronizableRepository.handleLockChangeInfo.

Decreasing severity to normal because it seems to be in the context of the offline *example* suite.

Have you manually applied locks in one of the clients?

We'll try to address open problems in 4.3 (master) first and then port fixes back to 4.2.
