Description Greg Watson CLA 2013-03-12 11:31:24 EDT
Currently a user must click and hold on a job to show the location of the job in the system monitoring view. This is not really consistent with UI practices in Eclipse.

Would it be possible to change the behavior as follows?

1. Selecting a job in the active jobs view would highlight it in the system monitoring view. The job would remain selected until the user selects another job, or unselects the job (e.g. cmd-click).

2. Rather than greying out all the jobs except the highlighted job, instead draw a box around the nodes containing the job.

3. If multiple jobs are selected, then the nodes for all the jobs are enclosed in a box.

4. The current behavior to bring the nodes onto the visible region would remain.

See attached screenshot for example of selecting two jobs.
