I went over to the C/C++ IDE download.  I clicked the 64 bit download, and it downloaded, yada yada.  I ran it to make sure it worked and it gave me an error about java.  Quick check on the files included, and I discovered that it had downloaded the Java IDE, not the C/C++ IDE!  Please fix this, I am currently using the 32 bit ( which worked ), but I would like it if you fixed the download link!

Can you provide the link that you downloaded from, and the page where you found that link.

I (re-)checked the links on eclipse.org/downloads and they look good to me. Can you provide more information about this (platform, file name, version, download page URL, etc.)?

This is old enough, with no response from originator, that I think we can safely assume all works as it should.
