When using a splitted editor space, if you move the tab of an opened XML file from one editing space to another, the editor for this file disappears. It's not possible to re-open it and you must use "close all" in order to be able to re-open it.

Hi Traroth,

I cannot seem to reproduce this. Are there any other steps you may be able to give me to reproduce the problem? Are there any errors in the Error Log? Can you reproduce this with other editors besides the XML editor? Thanks.

Sorry, but I'm also unable to reproduce it now. When I reported the bug, it happened each time I tried. I even restarted Eclipse to be sure.

I can't see any particular step I made which could have caused the problem. Maybe I'm missing something...

No problem. I'll resolve this for now, but if you find a way to reproduce it reliably in the future, please reopen the defect.
