Description Brian de Alwis CLA 2012-10-19 17:27:55 EDT
Version: 4.2.1
Build id: M20121017-1200

The generator for extension point descriptions doesn't handle fully-qualified extension point definition: an extension point "X.Y.Z" defined in bundle "A.B.C" will be generated as "A.B.C.X.Y.Z".

Steps to Repeat
1. Create a Plugin Project "A.B.C"
2. Define an extension point "X.Y.Z"
3. From the manifest editor, select Extension Points > Show extension point description. Note that the listed identifier is "A.B.C.X.Y.Z".
4. From the Schema Editor, select "Preview Reference Document". Note that the listed identifier is "A.B.C.X.Y.Z".

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
