Using version 2.2.1 (as currently on hudson.eclipse.org) there is a option on Linux and Mac slaves to "use Xvnc" for tests, and if checked, there is an option to "Take Screenshot Upon Build Completion?". A handy feature. And, I've just seen, the "help" says "This requires ImageMagick be installed" But, on some systems, the software to accomplish the capture is not installed. (Such as see bug 389378). It seems the Hudson interface should be "smart enough" to know if it can accomplish the task and perhaps be disabled if ImageMagick is not installed, or at least give an warning that it won't be able to perform the task unless ".... prereq software is installed" (being as specific as possible, of course, for what ever is required, on what ever system). I guess its debatable, but having this checked, and ImageMagick not installed, will actually cause the build to show as fail ... I'd think be better to just end with a warning prereq not installed but not fail the build. Thanks.
