Description Thomas Kratz CLA 2012-04-17 06:39:18 EDT
Build Identifier: I20120127-1145 (4.2M5)

Hi I'm playing with spring/osgi and rap. I found that the component scan from spring data neo4j repositories (should be the same with component-scan) cannot see the bin dir of the launched bundles from my workspace. I think I remember there was a trick pde does to embed a dir bundle file to make them visible, but with the M5 build this does not work. I can workaround by scanning "bin.${packageName}" but this is ugly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch osgi bundle from workspace
2. list bundle files, search for class files
3. ups

Perhaps this bug would be better reassigned to the component providing the launch. When launching a runtime workbench, PDE does create a dev.properties that lists the output folders of the bundles in the workspace.

Currently we are not actively enhancing PDE build anymore. Therefore, I close this bug as WONTFIX.

Please reopen, if you plan to provide a fix.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
