the popup outline/search window is *really* nice.  I would stop using the real 
outline view if it support context menus.

In general, some things are very hard to do with anything but the outline 
view.  For example, Compare with revision is impossible without the outline 
view open for Types that are not visible in the other views (For example, using 
F3 from the hierarchy perspective results in a type that is not part of the 
hierarchy).

This is actually a more general issue. MOST editors are editing a resource.  
Often that resource is not visible in the other "navigation" like views.  The 
workbench should give you access to the resource's context menu in a consistent 
place, perhaps the icon of the editor's tab?

Of course a Type's context menu is not exactly the same as its enclosing CU's, 
so this bug is still a nice one to get fixed.  Does anyone agree with my other 
statement?

yep. one of the most wanted actions I'm missing on the editor (tab?) are the
Team ones.
