For target platforms that have a lot of libraries, it would be great if we could present a list of them as found in the library path when adding a new one.

As a quick fix, we could search for all lib*.a, lib*.so, *.dll, sort and remove duplicates and present the list with a Search button next to the text field. Ideally, the toolchain would tell us what the file patterns should be.

This bug was assigned and targeted at a now released milestone (or Future or Next that isn't being used by CDT). As that milestone has now passed, the milestone field has been cleared. If this bug has been fixed, please set the milestone to the version it was fixed in and mark the bug as resolved.
