Description Max Li CLA 2012-02-17 15:31:40 EST
Using the JAWS screen reader, pressing the down (or up) arrow key to move around lines sometimes moves down twice for one keypress, instead of the expected one line.

This problem only appears to happen when using the editor in Firefox with JAWS. It works fine in Chrome and IE.

I'm thinking that this isn't an Orion problem. I've found that whenever this happens, the real problem is that JAWS doesn't think that it's on a webpage at all (i.e. the virtual cursor isn't available at all) (and rather just on a plain application) (which actually renders the entire browser useless until you restart it). I've managed to replicate the same behaviour in Firefox on a different website (without an Orion window ever open for that instance). A common denominator between instances of this happening seems to be me having Firebug open; I can't seem to reproduce it otherwise.

The symptoms seem to be similar to Mozilla bug 427146 [1], though the replication steps appear to be different. I think it's pretty safe to conclude it's either a Firefox or Firebug bug, and I don't believe there is anything that can be done in Orion to fix it.
