When using the editor, selecting text (either with the keyboard or the mouse), the screen reader JAWS does not read text that is selected.

I've tested this in both Firefox and Chrome, and this issue appears to be specific to Firefox.

NVDA will properly read the selected text.

Incidentally, I appear to have fixed this problem while fixing bug 372264.

I do believe that the fix for bug 372264 also fixes this, so I'm marking this as resolved.
