When this command is invoked, if any text is currently selected, it is unselected. Then the entire line where the curor is located is selected
and the cursor is positioned at the begining of the line.

I would use this feature far more oftne than the existing "select line down" and "select line up" features.

It is most useful when bound to a control key sequence.
