In RC2, in the Hello, World plugin template, build.properties is not updated to 
include the sample.gif icon that is placed in the icons subdirectory. This 
means it won't get packaged into the zip file if one is built, and so if you 
tried to install this plugin anywhere but the run-time workplace it would fail.

I haven't checked the other templates but it's possible some of them might have 
the same problem.

This is a valid defect, but we cannot address it now. 'New' wizard creates a 
generic build.properties that does not contain all the necessary entries to 
build the plug-in. The file has to be edited to add icons/ directory. 

We will document this in the 'readme'.
