we should generalize this so that the type hierarchy can be opened on any 
selection in packages view, i.e.,:
IJavaProject - show type hierarchy focused on project
IPackageFragmentRoot - show type hierarchy focused on fragment root
IPackage - show type hierarchy focused on package
