Description Cedric Dumoulin CLA 2010-09-17 11:58:20 EDT
Sometime we want to render data in a diagram element in a custom way.
As example, we can define a matrix in a tagged value of a stereotype, and want to render it in diagram using a custom component.

The proposed tool will allow to add custom renderer in existing elements, and to bind such renderer to tagged values, properties, ...
The custom render can be added to a class (in an additional compartment), to a link endpoint (like cardinality), to a note, ...

It would be nice to be able to switch from one representation to another dynamically when some condition is changing, or directly through a contextual menu on the model element enabling the user to switch.
It would be nice to allow to define more than one alternative.
It should be done via extension points, in order to be able to embed customized representation (figure and/or editpart) within a specific plug(in extending Papyrus default representation.
