Build Identifier: CDT 8.0

Once the patch for 302121 is committed, support for logical structures could possibly be enabled. If logical structures are enabled, the content provided by the pretty printers is used. If logical structures are disabled, the raw content is shown.

MI has a command -var-set-visualizer that can be used to turn pretty printers on or off on a per varobj basis. 

Deeper investigation is required, of course.

Just a clarification that 'logical structures' refers to the button in the Variables view and Expressions view provided by the platform "Show Logical Structures".  This button does not do anything for DSF-GDB at this time.
