The current IP ownership of DNSJava cannot be fully established due to the long history of the project (~10 years). Over the time it has seen several different contributors which not always have given a public statement whether they accept their contribution to be published under BSD. Thus all those contributors have to be contact to get a written approval. The attachment is a condensed version of the public SF trackers and the CHANGELOG. Right now roughly ~50% responded to my request if they are OK with their contribution licensed under BSD. Unfortunately due to time constraints of the EF IP team, I am the one who has to the heavy lifting.
