The Autotools docs plugin has direct html links to online tools manuals and should do this indirectly via a web-page.

I think this was fixed already, right, Jeff?  Perhaps for 0.7 or 0.8?

I'd like a simple page like we have now that lists the pages and the external targets of the links.  The tree items are fine to go external directly but should have " (external link)" appended to their tree element names.
