Build Identifier: I20091210-1301

If I add an environmental variable in Windows->Preferences->Environment, the variable also shows up in project property pages (->C/C++ Build->Environment)
But, if I add a build variable in Windows->Preferences->Build Variables, the variable doesn't show up in project property pages (->C/C++ Build->Build Variables). Should the latter be propagated as well?
