'Export > Deployable plug-ins > Install into host' does not offer the default repository any more after the repository has been changed manually.

The first time, the default is: <workspace>/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.pde.core/install/

You could add a button to set the default, or simply set the default when the combo loses focus and is empty. Or at least add the default to the combo list all the time.

Fixed in HEAD see ExportDestinationTab.  The default option is always added to the combo (assuming the value hasn't already been stored in the settings).  If the combo is blank and the install option is selected, the first combo option (most recently used) will be selected.
