User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_2; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Safari/531.21.10 Build Identifier: 20090920-1017 I had this problem since Eclipse 3.3, and it is still present in 3.5 that I currently use. It appears only under Mac OS X: The Applet Viewer window doesn't receive focus when running, it also doesn't react to mouse and keyboard events. In Windows, Linux this doesn't happen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Prerequisites: Applet project and applet run/debug configuration, Mac OS 10.4 or higher with JRE 1.5 or 1.6 1. Start the run configuration 2. The AppletViewer window will start, and the applet will show normally but it will remain in background and the title bar will remain grey, i.e. the window will not be in focus. 3. Try to click with the mouse into the Applet Viewer window: It will not react.
Not sure if this is expected behavior...
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
