I was evaluating an expression. When I scrolled down to see the next element after the last one being shown in the tree, it looks like if it had not received focus.

This appears to be a timing bug in the debugger. The text of the item hasn't been set yet when the selection event is sent and the Text widget is getting the empty text. 
Maybe the debugger should update the Text widget when it updates a selected TreeItem?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.
