The PDE Editor has the ability to browse for command ids. This dialog would be also useful outside the PDE editor as a shortcut like "ctrl+t" for quick Type search.
Do you want this added to the Ctrl+Shift+A dialog? Where do you want it to go if you select a command?
yes, this dialog would be ok, Chris. I have no idea where I would want to go then. I would just copy the command to the clipboard. But we could go to the definition of the command.
Where are you pasting these command ids?
Pasting them from anywhere in code to my own extensions (not menu extensions).
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
Please remove the stalebug flag, if this issue is still relevant and can be reproduced on the latest release.
