There are several features in the XSD editor that would be very useful, especially for large schemas, particularly in the areas of navigation and the "Design" image. This represents one of the issues I'll file on this subject.

When viewing a large schema and trying to navigate to various design elements, it would be useful if the lists of types, elements, et cetera in the XSD editor view and the Outline view could be dynamically filterable, like in the Preferences dialog, or perhaps the interaction model in the "Open Type" and "Open Resources" dialogs.

The only help available here appears to be the behavior in the Outline view, where you can type the characters of the element/type you want to see. You can't delay between any of the characters, or it assumes you're "starting over" on the name. It's pretty awkward to get much use out of this feature.

Reproducible: Always

David, thank you for opening the request, this would indeed be a useful feature and we may consider it for a future release.

As always, given that WTP is an open source project, code contributions are welcome and appreciated.
