I haven't seen a request for auto versioning in CDT, so I filed one.

Reproducible: Always

Care to elaborate what auto versioning you are talking about?
Comment 2 Vlad Pascu CLA 2009-08-30 09:05:43 EDT
I meant an option to have the IDE automatically increase the project's build number.
Comment 3 Andrew Gvozdev CLA 2009-08-30 09:29:10 EDT
Every time CDT is built the projects are re-tagged and the timestamp is included in version number. Is that what you are asking for?
Comment 4 Vlad Pascu CLA 2009-08-30 09:33:41 EDT
No. You totally missed my point. This is a feature request... I mean could you please implement an option in CDT where you could create a C/C++ project that has it's build number updated(through windows resources, or through a version header) every time is it rebuilt.
