if i use separate output folders per src folder, then the 'Default output
folder' checkbox should be made disabled to avoid confusion

the 'Default output folder' checkbox? Do you mean the folder input field or 
the 'Allow...' check box?

Can't currently disable as the output can be the cause of an error (even not 
used). Filed bug 28596

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
