I have a little script that reports these bundles are missing about.html files. 

You probably have a template folder somewhere ... maybe just need to add there, or add to the build.properties, that's in the template folder?

I _think_ this might be because the feature needs a sourceTemplateBundle instead of a sourceTemplatePlugin. I'm going to try that.

Marking for PMC awareness. There's no question that missing about.html files are "stop ship", so, hope my fix does the job.

This fix did work. Long term, the sourceTemplatePlugin folder could probably be deleted.
