Bug 273739 comment 0 mentions incorrect layouts for some of the PDE preference pages / wizards:

> "Preferences->Plug-In Development->Editors" page,"Preview" field;
> "Preferences->Target Platform" - 'Target Definitions' text area and
> "New Target Definition" wizard - "Arguments" Tab - "Program Arguments"&"VM
> Arguments" fields

fix

SWT.LEFT_TO_RIGHT added in the controls that should not be RTL'ed
Note that I've added to the list of comment#0 the Product editor, which also has a Program/VM arguments section...

I would hold off on this. The mechanism for overriding the parent orientation is an enhancement in 3.6

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
Comment 4 Julian Honnen CLA 2019-09-09 02:33:38 EDT
Please remove the stalebug flag, if this issue is still relevant and can be reproduced on the latest release.
