When I type in the "work with" field the URI of a site that is already in the list, the dialog tells me so with the popup but it does not let me add it anyway. So I now have to go and find the site in the list which of course is sorted by Name and not by URI thus making the finding of this existing repo a pain.

One suggestion would be to simply show the content of the repo and still show the pop up for info to the user but I don't get the point of making this an error.

Are you running with the latest build? Ever since Susan added the content assist drop-down here, this case seems to work fine.

I was selfhosting when I ran into that. Now when I try it into this week I build I don't see this problem...
