Description MH CLA 2002-11-25 07:23:24 EST
The Java Environment should have a function to (pre)compile JSP files. reason:
syntax checking during development time. :-]
Comment 1 Philipe Mulet CLA 2002-11-25 09:12:34 EST
Not for 2.1, will consider at a later stage
Comment 2 Philipe Mulet CLA 2003-06-13 04:46:13 EDT
JSP support will be part of web tooling.
JDT will ease its integration with Java services.
Comment 3 Philipe Mulet CLA 2004-01-08 06:54:16 EST
Closing as this doesn't belong to pure JDT, but rather to some of its future
extensions.
Comment 4 MH CLA 2004-01-08 12:13:11 EST
well, if you just close it, it gets lost. is there another category where to
keep this RFE alive?
Comment 5 Philipe Mulet CLA 2004-01-08 16:11:06 EST
Eclipse doesn't provide JSP support at the moment. Products based on it do add
this value. There are a number of initiatives in this area available already.
