Description Yann Tanguy CLA 2009-03-17 07:36:41 EDT
In GMF diagrams a selection of graphical element can be copied to clipboard and paste (as image) in external editors (ex: Word, OOo).

This feature is currently disabled by Papyrus (backbone ?) in its GMF diagrams. This is a mandatory feature for most users it should not be disabled.

This feature doesn't work as well when trying with the Eclipse native MultiPageEditor.
We need to be sure that our generated diagram provides this functionality.
Comment 2 Patrick Tessier CLA 2009-09-02 09:09:59 EDT
Now in GMF, this is a functionality that developers have to add.
see followings news :
http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.modeling.gmf/msg19463.html

http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.modeling.gmf/msg16768.html

Nevertheless, it exists code in the common to add action "duplicate" in the menu edit that come from the common of Moskitt see http://www.moskitt.org/fileadmin/conselleria/documentacion/Presentaciones/MOSKitt-CopyPasteSupport.pdf.

I have tried on class diagram, and it runs.

Because it is not a bug but a functionality to add, I set this task as an enhancement with a priority P2.
