N20090215-2000 Given a Bundle A and a fragment F for A. If F tries to contribute extensions via fragment.xml while A is a non-singleton bundle this the extensions are ignored in Equinox. To make it easier for developers PDE should warn put a warning marker on the fragment project if a fragment.xml is available and the host bundle is not a singleton. And a quick fix would be nice ;-)
And see bug 266406 for the Equinox side
I'm pretty sure this is a duplicate, but the fix should be trivial. Let me do something!
Created attachment 127017 [details] org.eclipse.pde.core.patch Here's a patch to get someone started for bugday, I ran out of time today to finish.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
