Some of the software (eg master-root.feature.group on http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.5-I-builds) listed on the Available Software window will not match filter text. The same software also seems to be ordered first on in the list out of alphabetical order. The affected software seems to those which don't have a name defined, and instead are listed by their id(?).
It's possible these are listed with blank names, which would sort first, but the label provider would choose to show id instead. It does seem odd to sort on a different key than what is displayed... marking 3.5 as a polish item
fixed in HEAD >20090318. - sorter now uses id field if name is empty and name is not showing in another column. - pattern filter now filters on id field in same situation - clients of the sorter specify which columns are showing so the right decision can be made.
