I discovered this when comparing CDI-GDB and DSF-GDB.  If I open the Modules view and first look at the CDI debug session, then switch to DSF session, the details pane does not work.  Likewise, if I first look at the DSF session, then the CDI session, then it does not work in CDI.  

There could be an ID conflict or it could be a platform bug (Modules view is in platform now).

When changing the layout (vertical <-> horizontal) the detail pane starts working again.
