+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #252808 +++ The project participates in Babel, meaning it is registered and available for string translation, etc.
CDO/Net4j are run-time technologies. All generic user interfaces are considered as usage examples. Therefor I always pulled the "technical reasons" card. Nevertheless I'll put it on my nice-to-have list.
Not applicable to Teneo as it is a backend/runtime technology
The following components are registered in Babel for Galileo: Query Transaction Validation
Done for EMF core. Eike and Martin, why not register your components? Even if all you have is examples, it seems worth doing to me. It's a trivial task: it's just a matter of going to a Web page and filling in a form to point Babel at a map file. Then it will fetch all your strings and people will be able to fill in translations if they want.
No response to my last nag, so I'll try again: do you use externalized strings in these examples? If so, registering them for translation in Babel should be trivial. Looking for responses to my nag from Teneo and CDO. ;-)
Dave, this is already done. Eike included CDO's map file, you can see CDO already listed in babel webapp. Cheers, ViK.
Dave, you might have forgotten of Net4j, which is a EMF component as well. We are performing "babelization" duties on it as well. I checked babel and it's been listed as well.
Vic, Thanks for the responses. I've kind of been lumping Net4j in with CDO, since I know it's the same people. So, if there are any particular issues with Net4j but not CDO relating to any of these requirements, please note it.
Dave, nothing to add. We already have this bug fixed for net4j :) (although strings are still pending to be externalized).
Teneo has registered with Babel. gr. Martin
Thanks everyone. Another one done.
Closing all fixed releng bugs.
