Description Simon Arsenault CLA 2001-10-10 22:37:48 EDT
I added a plugin.xml file to a folder. I then double clicked on it to edit it.
The default editor is "Plug-in Manifest Editor" (from PDE?). However,
I get the error message "Platform path not set in Preferences".

The message should contain more information. For one, it should
say which page in the preferences I need to go to. It could also
mention what editor/plugin this came from so I have more context
(if this is the PDE editor then it could mention that).

Also, looking at the PDE preference pages, I could not see any
field label "Platform path". Is this to mean the "Platform Home"?
Or "Workspace Location"? As you can tell, a user would be completely
	lost at what to do.
