Description Dimo Stoilov CLA 2008-07-22 10:43:35 EDT
When deleting a server from the servers view, a confirmation dialog appears: Delete Server Dialog. By default the checkbox "Stop Server Before Deleting" is checked.
Depending on the vendor, stopping could be heavy operation. And if the user doesn't pay attention to this check box, he/she can accidentally trigger stopping.
Therefore the default value for the checkbox should be customizable by the vendor.

Theoretically, just about every setting can be server-type specific or want to be customized by a vendor. Like the debug framework, we're trying to slowly expose settings like this based on multiple requests, and looking for simple ways to do it without creating too much API. In this case, maybe we could look at adding a property to control this.

Since this is a behaviour/API change, I'm targeting to 3.1.

Sorry, did not get to this in 3.1 so marking as 'future'. Will try to get this into the next release.
