Steps To Reproduce:
Right now there is no Extension Wizard for the Common Navigator. I've created one: http://blog.cypal-solutions.com/2008/06/easiest-way-to-create-common-navigator.html

Let me know if its worth to be added to 3.5. I'll attach a patch to this bug.

PDE loves contributions :) Depending on how big the contribution is, we might need IP approval, but definitely attach the patch.

Noticed that the help on the wizard page is pretty poor, so I opened bug 239269.

Patch for the bug

I'm attaching whatever I had. Probably we can have different options such as 'Java Package Name' (as in the View Template). I'll leave it to you guys to have the option.

Another small To Do item is to create the icon and add it to the view. I've not done it.

The patch is small enough that it does not need to go through the IP process.

I went through the patch and updated a few things (mostly NL stuff) and applied the fix to HEAD.

I cleared the iplog flag for the bug report (but left it on the patch). Adding the iplog flag on a bug causes all comments to be marked as contributions in the IP log. This is used for situations where the IP being contributed is contained in a comment rather than a patch.
