Build ID: I20080517 In the file: \eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.jdt.doc.isv\guide\jdt_api_codeassist.htm Would you please check the following questions? - Code completion - compute the completion of a Java token. 1) Should 'completion' above be translated? - Code selection - answer the Java element indicated by the selected text of a given offset and length. 2) Is 'selection' translatable..? - A completion requestor can accept many different kinds of completions. 3) Similarly, do these 'completion' and 'completions' just indicate general meaning, or should they remain in English? Somehow, these terms were not translated in previous version, but I am not sure if it is right. Please check.
Please note that we have not yet started to bring the documentation up-to date. This will happen in RC3 and RC4.
I think that these terms should not be translated because 'completion' and 'selection' are used as technical jargon and not as ordinary english word.
Resolving as INVALID because this is rather a question than a bug, and we try not to use WORKSFORME or WONTFIX in such cases - the question is legitimate and pls see no offense in the INVALID keyword.
