Build ID: 3.3.2 Steps To Reproduce: 1. Try and use code assist in any perspective 2. 3. More information: Dear Sir/Madam, My content assist does not work and I do not know why. My code assist is set up to automaticaly make suggestions at 200ms and after a '.'. It fails to work in both the Java perspective and the JavaEE perspective. If I press Ctrl-Space I get a code assist window with 'No default proposals' message, and the bottom bar of Eclipse has a warning in red 'No completions available'. Any help would be much appreciated.
Code assist works for me in eclipse 3.3.2. Could you check if at least 'Other Java Proposals' and 'Type Proposals' are enabled in Preferences>Java>Editor>Content Assist>Advanced>Default Proposal Kinds ? Could you give a test case to reproduce the problem ?
