OS: Linux
Build date: 0512
Component/Functoin name: RSE - 10.002540 TC900001 PREFERENCE PAGE: REMOTE SYTEMS - DSTORE
Blocking: No
Tester Name: Youngsun Ko

Steps to recreate the problem:
1) From the "Remote Systems" Perspective select Window > Preferences
2) Expand 'Remote Systems' in the left pane and select "DataStore".
3) Verify the dialog, its tooltips, and its F1 Help.

Problem description:
The F1 Help for "DataStore" is not appeared for Korean.
Please investigate it.

Thanks,
Youngsun

Please click on the "?" button in the lower left of the dialog to bring up the help menu. F1 help does not work in Linux so we must disregard the testcases that ask one to press F1 to bring up the help.

BUT, when there is the "?" button in the lower left and the help menu is asked to be verified, you MUST click on the "?" button.

The "?" button in the lower left of the dialog can not bring up help menu in this case. Please investigate it.

Thanks,
Youngsun

There is no help topic defined for the datastore preference page. I will write one and attach it to the page.
Comment 4 David Dykstal CLA 2008-05-15 12:26:05 EDT
Fixed for RC1

For many releases, RSE has always provided additional info to its customers throught the doc and not throught the F1 help. This has served the Eclipse user community well without any complaint. Therefore Development does not agree that this is a stop ship issue. That said, rest assure that we will still open a Bugzilla bug against RSE to record this as a suggestion so the development team can evaluate in future release.

Adding pii keyword -- new PII in HelpContexts.xml:

<context id="DStorePreferencePage">
   <description>The DataStore preference page allows you to set various parameters associated with DataStore protocol.

You may set the timeout value used to establish the initial connection as well as the &quot;keepalive&quot; characteristics of the underlying connection.

You may also show or suppress warnings if the server and client versions of the protocol are not exactly matched.</description>
</context>

This will be in I20080515-1600
