Description David Dykstal CLA 2008-05-12 17:47:12 EDT
There are several cases where RSE tries to be smart and add the colons to labels as a separator. However, there are several languages that have different separator requirements. For example, French requires a space before the colon, and Chinese requires a different colon character in some cases. All punctuation must be a part of the PII.

This affects a large amount of PII. It must be fixed early in the 3.5 release cycle. Marking this as higher priority so it gets some early attention.

The fix is to remove all automatic colon adding code and supply the punctuation in the PII. Using products may also want to modify their PII.

As per comment 1 this can't be "Future" release. We either plan for 3.3 or we decrease priority. Dave?
Comment 3 David Dykstal CLA 2010-05-27 09:33:44 EDT
3.3 is fine for this
Comment 4 Martin Oberhuber CLA 2011-05-31 17:49:15 EDT
Bulk moving 3.3 deferred items to 3.3.1
