Description Olivier Thomann CLA 2008-04-30 12:40:17 EDT
See bug 229615 and bug 228651, they show what is the current behavior for member value pairs in case of binding recovery.
To add this a new type RecoveredMethodBinding should be added to handle the missing method bindings in case the pair cannot be resolved.

This should be investigated post 3.4.

Not for 3.5

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

Inspecting the code this area seems to be unchanged since 2008. I seem to recall a fairly recent question (forum?, SO?) that could possibly relate to this, so, yes, improved binding recovery will likely help some users.
