1. check you have no program running.
2. select some characteres in the Display view
3. Hit [DELETE].
   nothing appends.

In fact, the delete key doesn't work in the display view at any time, on any 
platform.

The delete key doesn't work in the details pane either.

Same problem in the breakpoint view.

The delete key works in the breakpoints view for me in Win2000.

This is a platform problem.
