Description Daniel Garrido CLA 2008-04-25 12:46:35 EDT
Each time Eclipse is restarted, or a project is updated by SVN or CVS, the files tree I'm working in the package explorer shown in "Java perspective" are closed.
That forces a person to open all directories all over again.
I believe that it would be very interesting that like the functionality of keeping the files opened after closing eclipse, that the file tree remained unchanged.

Please capture what you do (if anything) and pass this on to the Common Navigator folks...

Bug 130083 is about this. See the comment there why we don't want to do this.
> or a project is updated by SVN or CVS
I can't reproduce this. Can you give more information? What action are you exactly executing? Full replace of the project or source folder?

File a separate bug if there are similar issues in the project explorer. If I don't get more information on problems while updated by SVN or CVS I will mark it as duplicate of bug 130083.
