Description Susan McCourt CLA 2008-04-18 11:43:20 EDT
From bug #227686:
>(Note: I did not see the
>arrow for the dropdown list, until you asked me about this. It would be great
>if the arrow/dropdown list can be made more visible, so the user would know.
>In fact, the dialog may want to show the current selection (e.g. by site) in a
>dropdown combo box, so it would be more apparent to the user what the current
>selection is, and what other possible selections are there. That may be a
>different bug.)

There is a bit of a code factoring issue that might make this harder than it would seem, but worth considering. Also, the current implementation is not accessible as there is no mnemonic to get to the menu.

bulk update - p2 UI bugs marked 3.4 are now marked 3.4 RC2. These are substantial enough that if they don't get in for RC2, they shouldn't go in.

removing 3.4 milestone. Good idea, but we have bigger problems to fix for RC2.

There is no longer a "view by" menu at all. The site view is no longer available, although users can scope the available software page by site. A checkbox at the bottom controls whether items are grouped by categories. These new options for working with the wizard are more plainly visible.
